Adobe Acrobat Professional (Business Technology)

What is this?

Adobe Acrobat Professional is used to create a large amount of files into a PDF format. This becomes easy for portability and more efficient when transporting these files from one person to another. This is not a free software, but it is available for a free trial download to decide if you would like to purchase it or not.

This software is not considered a Web 2.0 application, but it creates forms that can be used online and allow entry into those forms, for example a converting a PDF. These can be posted to any website and are not available for editing. But Adobe Professional can convert these PDF files to a Microsoft Word document giving the user the ability to edit.

How does it apply?

Adobe Acrobat Professional can be used in a business setting for portfolios. Sensitive information about the job setting can be protected with the software. It can also be used to edit secure information by certain users and prohibit editing by unwanted users. It also can change hard copy documents to electronic copies. This saves time because users no longer have to retype any unsaved hard copy files.
